Annual Meeting and Wine Tasting
Date: December 6, Thursday

E&J Gallo will be coming from Modesto, CA to teach us the art of tasting wine. Marie Shubin, Director of Consumer Affairs and Jennifer Jo Wiseman, VP Consumer and Product Insights at E&J Gallo are planning a fantastic program specifically designed for our group. We will learn about types of wines, how to identify wines you may like and how to talk about wine with confidence. The event will be held at the Fiesta Resort in Tempe, AZ and will include dinner and wine.

Mission of IFT

The mission of the IFT is to advance the science and technology of food through the exchange of knowledge.

Members of the Cactus regional section of the IFT are professionals involved in all segments of the food industry, academia and government.

The Cactus regional section's goals are:

1. To promote and maintain high professional standards among the members.

2. To promote interest in the fields of food science and food technology.

3. To provide networking opportunities among members.

4. To keep members informed through seminars and speakers.
